Gacha Drop Rates and Pity
Drop Merge Quest lets you check the gacha drop rates and pity system inside the app at any time. This page collects those numbers and looks at how to spend your limited magic stones efficiently.
Drop rates

6-star characters do not appear in the gacha. You get a 6-star by taking a 5-star character through Apex evolution. The five starter heroes are also excluded from the gacha pool.
Pity and guaranteed slots
- Pity: you are guaranteed at least one 5-star within 100 pulls (the counter resets when you pull a 5-star)
- Every 10-pull includes one guaranteed 4-star or better

A 10-pull costs less per pull than singles and adds the guaranteed 4-star or better on top. Pulling in tens is generally the better deal.
How to get magic stones
- Stage clear rewards and milestone rewards
- Login bonuses
- Rewarded ads (a limited number of views per day, resetting in the 6:00 and 18:00 windows)
- In-app purchases (four tiers: ¥160 / ¥600 / ¥1,200 / ¥3,000)
Note: magic stones bought with money expire 180 days after purchase (a requirement of Japan's Payment Services Act). Magic stones obtained for free never expire.
How to think about spending
This game is designed so that your damage is decided almost entirely by the leader and sub-leader slots (because their multipliers multiply together). So:
- First, prioritize securing one 5-star with a high-multiplier leader skill
- If you pull a second copy of the same skill, putting it in the sub-leader slot squares the multiplier for a huge jump in damage
- Conversely, there's no need to collect many copies of the same character for their active skill, since active multipliers don't stack
There's also the route of defeating enemies and recruiting them as allies (5% for regular enemies, 3% for mini-bosses, and so on). You can broaden your roster without spending, so the efficient approach is to focus your gacha pulls on strengthening the leader slots.
